Learn to Skate

The Center State Skating Academy and U.S. Figure Skating welcome you to Basic Skills! Enjoy the life long skill of ice skating, whether it is for recreation and personal enjoyment, figure skating, speed skating, or hockey. The Morrisville State College Ice Plex offers a learn to skate program for all ages.

The Basic Skills Program will help you learn all the fundamentals of skating. We offer beginning and intermediate skating classes for those who want to advance in figure skating, hockey and speed skating. Our trained professionals will meet your needs.

Objectives:

Provide a safe skating experience for the beginner as well as the more advanced skater
Teach correct techniques of the basic elements of skating
Develop a finer degree of coordination and balance
Promote physical fitness
Have fun!

What should you expect during class?

1/2 hour group class with instructor
1/2 hour practice
20 minute group games with instructor

Fee: 7 Weeks = $70.00

Prices do not include a $15.00 Basic Skills Registration Fee.
